Home-Start Nottingham is extremely grateful to everyone at Sutherland Barnett for their support.
On the 28th September the salon was a wonderful venue to celebrate our grant from the Big Lottery and all guests had a wonderful evening.
In support of the work of Home-Start Nottingham Sutherland and Barnett have donated ‘hair dos’ and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience for our lucky mums who have enjoyed a hair ‘makeover’ at the sumptuous salon!
We all know how we feel when it is a bad hair day – so we especially thank Andrew and Craig and their team for making everyone so welcome and for making them feel a million dollars.
Fundraising
We have had a number of fundraising events such as table top sale, accessory parties and tombolas which have helped to raise £1,700.

Home-Start's Big Tea Party
Home-Start's Big Tea Party is a national initiative taking place between the 4th and 17th September each year. Hundreds of schemes take part up and down the country. It can be a tea party for two, for 20 or for 200 its up to you and it can be around your kitchen table, in the garden, at work or anywhere. Ideas and resources, including hats, stickers and invites can be found at www.home-start.org.uk/bigteaparty from around July time each year.

All money raised for Home-Start Nottingham through the Big Tea Party campaign is used to develop our service in the city, to ensure that every parent has the support they need to give their children the best possible start in life.
